“Following this we heard the “second version”for “string orchestra of twelve players” of the Concertino originally composed in 1920 for string quartet (…) The ensemble consisting of members of the Festival Orchestra  was conducted by  Dubóczky Gergely.  For this listener, the work – which is less approachable than the average piece – was given a really clear and transparent performance under Dubóczky’s precise and careful direction.”
